MAS/FPS invites you to join us in a series of two half day work sessions designed to assist Federal Program and Finance Directors work together to form a dynamic, effective team. These sessions will assist participants in gaining a clear understanding of roles and rules and regulations and an opportunity to work together to to create the most effective program for students. Designed for a team of two, additional team members are welcome. Contact Sam Ewing ( ) to register additional team members.

Join MAS/FPS for a one-day team training workshop and learn about the research-based parent involvement program developed by Joyce Epstein, of the National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS). SCHOOL, FAMILY & COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
Strengthening your Program of Partnerships

This Workshop will help attendees:

  • Understand the framework of the six types of involvement
  • Recognize the starting points of present practices at their schools
  • Understand that they must meet specific challenges to conduct a high-quality program of productive partnerships with all families
  • Know that practices of partnership can be linked to specific school goals/ strategies for improving the school climate and for helping students reach academic and behavioral results
  • Understand the structure and members of an Action Team for Partnerships (Wayne RESA Session)
  • Write a draft of Activities to include in the School Improvement Plan for the next school year
